About Me
I have been a clinical psychotherapist for 26 years and still love my work. I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1986 from UCLA and have been fortunate to have had excellent supervision, therapy, and training along the way.
I work in a collaborative, interactive manner, with adult individuals and couples. I participate as an ally, to establish an atmosphere of safety and honesty where you can heal from painful experiences, resolve current issues, and learn new skills and resources to help you deal with future challenges effectively.
Everyone’s situation and relationships are unique. I use empirically validated approaches such as EMDR, Attachment Theory, Hakomi Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, John Gottman Relationship Training, and recently, AEDP to tailor my approach to individual needs to help my clients achieve their goals.
We are all born with the need to be loved and to love, and we never outgrow it. My job is to provide the proper foundation of caring, respect, and curiosity to help my clients thrive in their relationships and lives.
